18 iunie - Picnic

Kawai.

Cei doi voluntari au reusit sa isi duca la bun sfarsit misiunea de a nimici nevinovatii pepeni, in ciuda planurilor marsave de a induce in eroare ale celor care au dat directii.

In final toata lumea a mancat pepene si a facut poze, dupa care au ajutat la curatarea locului, astfel incat a fost lasat in starea in care a fost gasit pentru a putea fi gasit la fel de primitor si data viitoare.

The last meeting in June was also the last meeting before breaking into holiday. The meeting was planned as a picnic for the people who managed to finish their exams and school, and also for those who needed a well deserved break, before getting down to the last of their exams. The picnic was held at the margin of Manastur Quarter, in a large and beautiful garden granted by the owners for the event, a place where all participants could rest and refresh themselves.

Apart from the relaxation, clean air and endless green the participants, who were mostly students, could also take part in the preparation and cooking of the food provided by Japan’s Friends Club. The menu was rich, consisting of grilled meatballs, meat sauced with a special sauce prepared by Ms. Kawai, kebab and an enormous salad prepared in an original way by the girls. Mr. Katsutaro Kawai, barely returned from Japanese lands, coordinated the activity around the grills, while Ms. Minodora Buta gave indications to the girls preparing the salad that was going to fill numerous hungry stomachs.

After preparing the food worthy of a royal meal, the participants reunited in a discussion about the Club and what it meant for each of the participants. After the discussion, the participants played ball games, followed by the well known and highly expected Japanese game called suikawari, watermelon breaking, under the coordination of Mr. Kawai. The two volunteers managed to complete their mission, which was to mess up the poor watermelons, despite the trickeries attempted by the people who gave directions.

In the end everyone ate watermelon and took pictures. Afterwards, the participants helped with cleaning the garden, returning it to the state it was before the picnic, so as to find it beautiful and welcoming again the next time.
