4 iunie - Calatorie imaginara pe muntele Fuji

Prima intalnire culturala a lunii iunie a fost ultima tinuta in absenta dlui. Katsutaro Kawai, organizatorul principal al intalnirilor de cultura din cadrul cercului “Prietenii Japoniei”, care s-a aflat in Japonia pentru cateva saptamani. Intalnirea a avut ca si tema Muntele Fuji, cunoscut de catre japonezi ca Fuji-san si fiind unul din cele mai cunoscute simboluri ale Japoniei si unul din cele mai iubite locuri din Japonia.

Asa cum dra. Minodora Buta a mentionat in introducerea la prezentarea sa, “-san” din Fuji-san nu denota un termen onorific, asa cum este gresit conceput de obicei, ci acest “-san” este citirea chinezeasca a kanji-ului care denota un munte, si anume “yama”

 

              La inceputul prezentarii fiecare participant a avut sansa sa impartaseasca celorlalti numele sau si pasiunile care ii leaga de Japonia, dar si alte pasiuni. Chiar daca se aflau in febra examenelor, publicul a fost constituit in mare parte din studenti care erau intr-adevar obositi, dar care cautau o oaza de scapare in atmosfera relaxanta atat de familiara a cercului.

              Dupa prezentari, intalnirea a continuat prin anunturile facute de dra. Minodora in legatura cu activitatile ce aveau sa urmeze in urmatoarele saptamani, in timp ce un telefon de la dl. Kawai, care se afla in Shikoku, Japonia, trebuia sa soseasca. Telefonul a sosit in sfarsit si cu cateva complicatii tehnice videoconferinta a putut fi initializata. Dl. Kawai a putut astfel sa transmita salutarile sale celor din Romania, astfel aducand publicul cu un pas mai aproape de Japonia.

Dupa telefonul din Japonia, Dra. Minodora a continuat prezentarea sa, aratand cateva aspecte interesante despre frumosul munte, precum etimologia numelui Fuji, care este nesigura, in prezent caracterele folosite au semnificatiile: “bogatie/ abundenta”, “persoana cu un anumit statut/ domn/samurai”, “munte” iar asocierea lor este una pur fonetica, dupa unele surse, sau legata de basmul popular Taketori Monogatari (Povestea taietorului de bambus), dupa alte surse.

 Zona din jurul muntelui a fost de asemenea prezentata, cu micile orase care il inconjoara precum Gotenba, Fujiyoshida si Fujinomiya,  si cele cinci lacuri: Kawaguchi, Yamanaka, Sai, Motosu si Shoji. Si asa cum fiecare lucru mare din Japonia are in spate o legenda, o variatiune a legendei taietorului de bambus a fost prezentata, legenda care nu a luat publicul prin surprindere, unii din participanti auzind cateva lucruri despre legenda inainte.

In ultima parte a prezentarii, din moment ce imaginile pot insemna mai mult decat cuvintele, un film care prezinta muntele in detaliu a fost proiectat. Pentru ca filmul a fost in limba japoneza in totalitate, fara subtitrare, acesta a fost un bun exercitiu pentru studentii de limba japoneza prezenti la cerc in acea seara. Filmul a ilustrat numeroase aspecte ale muntelui, cum ar fi unele locuri de urcare, zonele invecinate, flora si fauna, peisaje nemaipomenite dar si aspect din festivalul focului, celebrat anual cu dorinta de a imblanzi mania vulcanului Fuji pentru care se roaga sa nu mai erupa.

 Desi multi dintre participanti au considerat festivalul putin ciudat, acesta a fost unul inedit, procesiunea si obiceiurile fiind interesante de observat.

In final participantii au fost invitati sa petreaca putine momente in care sa delibereze care a fost imaginea creeata despre muntele Fuji, la o ceasca de ceai, un pahar de suc si un snack.

The first cultural meeting in June was the last meeting held in the absence of Mr. Katsutaro Kawai, the principal organizer of cultural meetings that take place at the Japan Friends Club, who was in Japan for a few weeks. The meeting had as a theme Mount Fuji, known by the Japanese as Fuji-san, being one of the most important symbols of Japan and one of the most loved places in Japan. As Ms. Minodora Buta mentioned in the introduction of her presentation, “-san” from Fuji-san is not an honorific term as it is usually mistakenly believed, but it is in fact the Chinese reading of the kanji denominating a mountain, namely “yama”.

In the beginning of the meeting, each participant was given the chance to share his name and his interest with Japan or other collateral interests. Even though in the fire of the exams, the public was mainly composed of students, who were indeed very tired but who were seeking an escape oasis in the relaxing atmosphere of the club.

After the introductions, the meeting continued with Ms. Minodora’s announcements for the following weeks, while waiting for a surprise call from Mr. Kawai who was going to make a video call from Shikoku, Japan. The call finally came and with a few technical complications, the connection was successfully established, Mr. Kawai sending his salutations and drawing the public a step closer to Japan.

After the call from Japan, Ms. Minodora’s presentation on Fuji-san continued, with a short presentation of different interesting aspects related to the beautiful mountain, like the etymology of the name Fuji, the meaning of which is unsure, in the present day meaning of the characters are: `abundant`,‘a man with a certain status’  and `mountain`. The area around the mountain was also presented, with the small cities that surround it, like Gotenba, Fujiyoshida and Fujinomiya,  and the five lakes: Kawaguchi, Yamanaka, Sai, Motosu and Shoji. And as every big thing in Japan has a legend behind, one variation of the legend of the bamboo cutter (Taketori Monogatari) was presented, though the public had not been taken by surprise, some of the participants proving to have known a few things about the legend.

In the last part of the presentation, since images can mean more than words, a movie presenting the mountain in detail was projected. Because the movie was in Japanese, with no translation available, it was a good exercise for the students of Japanese who were present at the meeting. The movie depicted numerous aspects of the mountain, some climbing paths, the surroundings, fauna and flora, breathtaking sceneries, and also a fire festival dedicated to the god is believed to be living inside the mountain, the god of fire, who has to be kept under control so that the mountain will not erupt again. Most of the participants considered the festival strange, but the procession and the customs were interesting to watch.

In the end the participants were invited to spend a few moments and deliberate about the image they got about Mount Fuji, at a cup of tea or a glass of juice and a snack.

              Va multumim tuturor pentru participare si implicare la intalnirile de cultura japoneza organizate de noi, Cercul “Prietenii Japoniei”. Anticipam prin acest mesaj iesirea la iarba verde din 18 iunie cand il vom avea si pe d-l Katsutaro Kawai alaturi de noi. Abia asteptam sa auzim impresii din aceasta calatorie.

De asemenea, va amintim ca in saptamana aceasta Ceainaria cu specific japonez, Sakura de pe str. Motilor nr. 48 gazduieste evenimentele:

Calendarul activitatilor - Iunie 2011

     Calendarul activitatilor lunii in curs, luna　Iunie, va sta la dispozitie mai jos. Speram sa gasiti timp pentru popasul sufletesc de care avem nevoie fiecare, participand la evenimentele organizate de noi. Evenimentele sunt gazduite, asa cum stiti deja, de Ceainaria cu specific japonez, Sakura, de pe str. Motilor, nr. 48.

21 mai - Petrecere de ramas-bun dedicata lui Nobu

Ultima intalnire din luna mai a avut loc in absenta dlui. Katsutaro Kawai, coordonatorul principal al Cercului “Prietenii Japoniei”, care se afla in Japonia pentru o perioada. Intalnirea a fost o petrecere de ramas bun dedicata dlui. Nobumitsu Takamatsu, cunoscut de catre prieteni drept Nobu, care urmeza sa plece la Bucuresti pentru a-si urma cariera de diplomat la Ambasada Japoniei din Romania.

La petrecere au participat multi prieteni de-ai lui Nobu, la inceputul petrecerii fiecare avand sansa sa se prezinte publicului prezent si sa isi impartaseasca gandurile legate de plecarea lui Nobu la Bucuresti.

 Dupa acest moment, dra. Minodora Buta, coordonatoarea principala a petrecerii, a dat cuvantul dlui. Takamatsu care a impartasit cu publicul gandurile sale despre Cluj-Napoca, orasul in care a trait timp de aproape 2 ani, timp in care s-au format numeroase legaturi si prietenii. Impresiile placute despre Cluj au abundat, dar nu a ezitat sa atraga atentia asupra unor aspecte mai putin placute, de altfel nu foarte numeroase. In finalul discursului, participantii la petrecere au avut ocazia sa ii puna dlui. Nobumitsu intrebari despre viata sa din Cluj, despre viitoarea sa viata din Bucuresti sau despre orice alte lucruri interesante care i-ar fi putut interesa.

In continuare, petrecerea gravitand in jurul lui Nobu, organizatorii au pregatit o surpriza, un pergament mare cu mesajul:

„Nobu, de la Cluj la Bucuresti

poti sa tot calatoresti,

N-asteptam ca sa te duci, dar ...

de la Bucuresti ce ne-aduci?”.

Surprizele s-au tinut lant, iar organizatorii au pregatit un joc pe nume Cati pasi imi dai rege?, in care sarbatoritul avea rolul de rege, domnind peste imparatia ce i se intindea la picioare.

Contestantii voluntari au fost impartiti in 2 grupe, 3 fete si 3 baieti, pretendenti la tronul de pe care regele Nobumitsu domnea.

Fiecare participant a trebuit sa raspunda la intrebarile puse de catre rege, iar in functie de raspuns regele ii acorda un anumit numar de pasi, astfel incat sa se apropie sau sa se departeze de pozitia de succesor la tron.

In final castigator a iesit dl. Rares Dumitras si echipa baietilor, care mai aveau sa treaca o ultima proba pentru a dovedi ca sunt vrednici de a mosteni tronul.

Proba consta intr-un joc de mima pe care baietii l-au pierdut, astfel incat adevaratii mostenitori au devenit echipa fetelor.

Dupa incitantul joc plin de rasturnari de situatie, a urmat o alta surpriza pregatita de catre Mirela Dimitriu si Mihaela Roman, care au incantat publicul cu prezenta lor la petrecere in yukata, imbracaminte traditionala japoneza de vara. Fetele au pregatit pentru participanti briose delicioase, personalizate cu diferite imagini astfel incat fiecare participant la petrecere sa se poata simti unic si deosebit.

 

Pe langa minunatele briose, dna. Kayoko Kawai a pregatit pentru participanti sushi, in continuare participantii fiind liberi sa faca fotografii, sa depene amintiri sau sa se bucure de ambianta creeata de lumanari si muzica.

In final, petrecerea a fost dusa mai departe in parcul sportiv Iuliu Hateganu, unde a avut loc festivalul luminii, un eveniment cu adevarat deosebit, bun prilej de meditatie pentru fiecare din cei ce au luat parte la el, inspirand melancolie, dar si bucuria de a trai in acelasi timp.

Nobu’s farewell party

The last meeting in May took place in the absence of Mr. Katsutaro Kawai, the main coordinator of “Japan Friends Club”, who was in Japan for a period of time. The meeting was a farewell party for Mr. Nobumitsu Takamatsu, known by his friends as Nobu, who was going to leave for Bucharest in pursuit of his career as diplomat at Japan’s Embassy in Romania.

Many of Nobu’s friends were present at the party, at the beginning of which each participant had the chance to introduce themselves and share their thoughts about Nobu’s leaving for Bucharest. After this moment, Ms. Minodora Buta, the main coordinator of the party invited Mr. Takamatsu to share his thoughts about Cluj-Napoca, the city in which he had been living for almost 2 years, with the public. Many good impressions were given but Mr. Nobumitsu didn’t hesitate to draw attention about some aspects that he didn’t find so pleasant, but there weren’t so many. At the end of his discourse, the public was invited to ask questions regarding Mr. Nobumitsu’s life in Cluj-Napoca, his future life in Bucharest and other interesting things.

Afterwards, the party being about Nobu, the organizers prepared a surprise, a large scroll with the message: “Nobu, From Cluj to Bucharest you can travel all you want, we weren’t hoping for you to leave but from Bucharest what will you bring?”. One surprise after another, after the scroll, the organizers prepared a game called “How many steps, your Majesty?”, where Mr. Nobumitsu was the King, ruling over the kingdom at his feet. The voluntary contestants were split in 2 groups, 3 girls and 3 boys, aiming to inherit the Nobu’s kingdom. Each participant had to answer the King’s questions, receiving a number of steps closer to the kingdom according to the satisfactory level of the answer. The winner was Mr. Rares Dumitras and his team, who had to face the final quest to become the true heir of the King. The last trial was a game of mime which the guys failed to succeed, thus the true heirs of the King have proven to be the girls.

After the exciting game, full of overturns, another surprise followed, prepared by Ms. Mirela Dimitriu and Mihaela Roman, who delighted the public with their presence at the party wearing Japanese traditional summer clothes called yukata. The girls also prepared amazingly tasty waffles, personalized with pretty images so that each participant could feel unique. Also, Ms. Kayoko Kawai prepared sushi, so the participants could eat, take photographs, talk and have a wonderful time in the ambiance created by candles and music.

In the end, the party moved to the Iuliu Hateganu Park, where the Light Festival took place, a wonderful event encouraging each of the participants to spend some moments and meditate, inspiring melancholy and also reminding of the beauty of life.

Atelier de rame foto in stil japonez - 7 Mai 2011

Prima intalnire a lunii mai a fost un atelier de rame foto in stil japonez, acesta avand loc in lipsa domnului Katsutaro Kawai care se afla in Japonia pentru o perioada.

 

La inceputul intalnirii, participantii doritori sa incerce sa confectioneze frumoasele rame s-au prezentat, dupa obicei si fiecare a avut ocazia sa spuna cum si-a petrecut vacanta de Paste.

Dupa ce fiecare participant a avut cuvantul, domnisoara Minodora Buta a inceput prezentarea sa, vorbind cateva lucruri despre chirimen, sau papusile confectionate din resturi de material pentru kimono-uri, care pot fi folosite ca jucarii, obiecte decorative sau talismane pentru diferite lucruri. Au fost prezentate diferite modele de chirimen, atat originale din Japonia cat si confectionate in cadrul cercului „Prietenii Japoniei”, sarubobo sau puiul de maimuta.

Dupa prezentarea acestor elemente, materialele necesare pentru confectionarea ramelor foto au fost impartite iar domnisoara Manuela Buta a explicat exact procesul de confectionare a respectivelor rame.

Participantii si-au dus la bun sfarsit creatiile intr-o atmosfera relaxata, libera la discutii.

In final fiecare participant s-a ales cu inca o experienta frumoasa si o rama foto pe care sa o poata darui sau pastra pentru amintirea acestui eveniment, dar si cu cunostintele necesare pentru a isi imbunatati tehnica si a crea rame originale pline de personalitate.

 

In final participantii s-a bucurat de o gustare si un de un ceai, timp in care au putut impartasi experienta din acea zi.

The first meeting in May was a picture frames workshop in Japanese style. The meeting took place in the absence of Mr. Katsutaro Kawai who was in Japan for a period of time. At the beginning of the meeting, the participants willing to try to make the beautiful frames introduced themselves, as usual and everyone had the chance to share how they spent the Easter holiday.

After every participant shared their holiday experience, Ms. Minodora Buta started her presentation, introducing a few things about the Japanese dolls made of kimono material leftovers, known as chirimen. They can be used as toys, decorations or they can serve as talismans for different purposes. A few models of chirimen were presented, some made in Japan and some made by the participants at “Japan Friends” club, sarubobo or the monkey baby.

After each of these elements were presented, the materials necessary for the creation of the frames were brought and Ms. Manuela Buta explained the whole process of confection. The participants managed to finish their frames in a relaxed atmosphere, free to discuss and socialize. In the end, every participant got another beautiful experience and a photo frame which they could give as a present or keep for themselves, in the memory of the event, and also with the knowledge necessary to create and improve the technique of creation of original personalized photo frames.

In the end, the participants enjoyed a snack and a cup of tea while sharing the experience of that day.

Mai jos veti gasi calendarul activitatilor lunii in curs, luna Mai, si speram sa gasiti timp pentru popasul sufletesc de care avem nevoie fiecare, participand la evenimentele organizate de noi. Evenimentele sunt gazduite, asa cum stiti deja, de Ceainaria cu specific japonez, Sakura, de pe str. Motilor, nr. 48.

Invitatie - Atelier de rame foto in stil japonez - Sambata, 7 mai, orele 18:00~

              Dragi prieteni,

 Ce mai faceti? Cum ati petrecut sarbatoarea Pastelui?

A trecut si 1 mai, o zi speciala si odihnitoare pentru toti, speram. Ne gasim iata in prima saptamana a lunii mai, o saptamana cu miros de lacrimioare si liliac, la sfarsitul careia va propunem o noua intalnire a Cercului “Prietenii Japoniei”.

De data aceasta vom avea un atelier de rame foto in stil japonez, care speram sa va faca placere si sa va inspire. Pentru a lasa loc originalitatii si pentru a respecta preferintele fiecarui participant in ceea ce priveste modelul sau culoarea materialului folosit pentru rama, ne-am gandit sa va rugam sa aduceti cu voi o bucata de material textil (subtire, care nu se destrama la taiat) cu dimensiunile 18/21 cm, iar de restul ne ocupam noi.

Atelierul va avea loc Sambata, 7 mai, incepand cu ora 18:00 pe strada Motilor, nr. 48. Va asteptam cu drag.
